    TMS Server Minimum Hardware Requirements:
  • True Intel Based Server Class Machine
  • Pentium III or Greater Processor(s) Recommended
  • 2GB Ram
  • 100 GB Hard Disk (SCSI/RAID-1 Recommended)
  • Dual Power Supplies Recommended
  • DVD/CD-ROM Drive
  • 10/100/1000MB Ethernet Network Card
    TMS Server Minimum Software Requirements:
  • Dedicated server running Windows Server 2003 (32 bit only) or Windows 2008 (x32 or x64)
  • Supported SQL Versions:
  • Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 SP4
  • SQL Server 2005 or SQL 2005 Express
  • Microsoft® SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 Express (32 or 64 bit)
  • Microsoft® SQL Reporting Services
    TMS Networking Component Requirements:
  • Permanent Internet Connection (DSL, Cable, T1, etc.) with Static IP Address (Required for Credit / Gift Card Processing and Internet Ticketing)
  • SOHO or greater Firewall with 128 bit SSL 3DES IPSec VPN support for up to 3 VPN connections (Required for Credit / Gift Card Processing and Internet Ticketing)
    TMS Manager’s Workstation Requirements:
  • Any PC running Microsoft® Windows Windows XP, Windows XP Professional, Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit)
  • Internet Explorer 8 or Greater
  • Any standard laser printer for printing reports
    TMS Point Of Sale Requirements:
  • Any Touch screen Point Of Sale PC running Windows XP Professional, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded
  • Windows 7 32 and 64 bit are now supported
  • NOTE: Specialty ticket printer drivers for 32 and 64 bit Windows 7 may need to be tested in your environment
  • For all-in-one devices, our customers have had success with Partnertech POS units, Posiflex or systems with similar features.
  • Minimum 800 x 600 screen resolution and 16 bit (high color) Color Display.
  • System Speaker / Sound Support Recommended For Audible Feedback Capabilities
  • Integrated or External Magnetic Card Reader (Keyboard Wedge Type) - Must Support 2 Tracks
  • Cash Drawer (Any Serial or Printer Integrated Supported)
  • Receipt Printer - 3" or 4" Thermal or Impact With Windows Drivers Supported - We Recommend Epson Receipt Printers, or Epson compatible (ESC/POS emulation) receipt printers.
  • Ticket Printer - Practical Automation, Boca, or Epson compatible receipt printers Supported - May Also Use Any 3" or 4" Thermal or Impact With Windows Drivers
  • Note: USB Printers are only supported when using Windows printer drivers. When selecting POS equipment, especially printers, cash drawers, mag stripe readers, and scanners, please select PS/2 keyboard compatible devices. Select parallel printers instead of serial if you have a choice.
  • Customer Display - Most Serial Pole or Integrated 2 line displays are supported
  • Proprietary or non-standard pos hardware that require OPOS drivers are NOT supported, but we can test any device for compatibility
    TMS Optional Devices:
  • Wireless handheld devices from Symbol running Windows Mobile 6 software
  • Bar code scanners that emulate keyboard input with USB or PS/2 style connections
  • Mobile phones with web access and javascript support (for real time data access)
