Box Office
Everything is ‘unlimited’ with our box office touchscreen application. Unlimited movies,
showtimes, ticket types, advanced day sales, and tender types. User training is quick
and efficient because of the simplicity of the buying process. Our integrated credit
card and gift and loyalty card processing makes multi-tender payment processing simple. The payment process is identical across all point of sale stations, which makes cross training easy. You may even sell inventory items like DVDs or handle theatre rental from the box office station.
Concession
The concession screens may be customized to sort items in any order you choose. The
number of pages of items is unlimited and you may sell stocked or non-stocked inventory
items. Every screen is designed for speed of service and you may setup items to
require one or more modifiers (i.e. supersize yes or no) if desired. Each item may
be sent to a distinct prep area if you serve specialty items like coffee or
pizzas. Full support for recipes (combos) is provided in our back office inventory
application.
Combined Box and Concession
Most of our customers are now using our all-in-one application to sell tickets, concessions, and
prepared items in the same transaction. This allows you to reduce staff by closing box office terminals
during slower times, and use less expensive thermal receipt paper for tickets and concessions. This application
may also operate as a "Concession Only" application if you choose.
Hospitality
Our full-featured hospitality application is designed for fast service bars within a
theatre or a full service ‘movie grill’ theatre with an extensive menu. Within an
order, you may route individual items like specialty coffees or pizzas to a remote
prep area. Items can have as many modifiers as you like, and all items within recipes
are deducted from the real time inventory system. Saving orders and tipping is supported.
Kitchen Display System
New for 2010, our Kitchen Display System removes the need for prep printers in the kitchen.
A standard pc with a bump bar or touchscreen monitor displays orders as they happen so your
employees can quickly get them to your customers. Summary totals of the most needed items are displayed at the
bottom of the screen and orders can be recalled if necessary.
Inventory
Behind the scenes of the box, concession, and hospitality screens is a full-featured
real time inventory system. As items are sold, stock levels are reduced so that up to
the minute information is available for reporting or analysis. Daily, weekly, or
monthly inventory periods are supported and you can even perform cycle counts
throughout the day to satisfy the most demanding inventory controls. After closing
an inventory period the totals are automatically sent to your corporate office for
consolidation and commission reporting.
Purchasing
Our full featured purchasing system uses your historical sales information to help you decide
what to order. You set up vendors and costs for each item in your home office system, and define projected sales levels
for each week of the year based upon historical data. The system automatically recommends the quantity
of each item the theatre manager should order and it builds the purchase order for you. When the orders are delivered, the items are
received into inventory from the purchasing system and the completed P.O. is automatically uploaded
to your home office system. Backordered items are moved to a new purchase order.
Time and Attendance
A robust time and attendance system is built into all point of sale applications. You
can require that employees are clocked in before using any selling station, and salaried
employees can also clock into the system if necessary. Employee schedules can be
created easily from a web browser. Job titles and shift types are created from your
corporate office and ‘pushed’ down to the theatre to synchronize all theatres with the
same codes. Overtime rules are fully supported for even the most complicated
states. The most impressive feature of the application is the ability to view real
time payroll information from your corporate office web browser. You can see who is
on the clock, the payroll total compared to your daily budget, and monitor
which employees are close to their overtime limit. When your payroll period
ends, the finalized data is automatically uploaded to your corporate office for
exporting to your payroll processing service.
Self-Service Kiosks
Our kiosk application lets customers help themselves. If you want increase the number
of transactions per minute or reduce the number of employees in your box office, kiosks
are definitely the way to go. You can pick up tickets you bought online, buy tickets
for any show date, recharge or check the balance on your gift and loyalty card. You
have the choice of functions you want the kiosk to perform. You do not have to allow
gift card recharges at the kiosk and you can even limit the ticket types that are
available. We help you add custom ‘skins’ to the kiosk screens so that it looks like your
theatre’s color scheme.
Wireless Technology
Using wireless handheld devices from companies like Dell and Symbol, our system
supports ticket stub scanning, auditing, and print at home ticketing. You can use
the same device to monitor your time and attendance, clock employees in or out, or
order food and drinks in a movie grill theatre environment.
Gift and Loyalty Cards
Our system allows a single card to be used as a gift and/or loyalty card. Paper based
gift certificates are practically obsolete. Just like our credit card processing
system, transactions are authorized instantly. Unlike other gift card processors, we
do not charge per transaction fees. The fee savings alone will add up to thousands
of dollars in savings. We are not limited to the features of a third party provider
because we own the transaction processing engine.
Credit Card Processing
Our high speed PA-DSS compliant gateway software allows hundreds of transactions per
second. Your customers and staff will appreciate the instant authorizations which
make credit card transactions faster than a cash sale. Theatre managers do not have
to worry about the settlement process because we do it for you. Our custom web based
applications allow you to reconcile your credit card statements to the penny.
QuikSilver Digital Signage
We built our QuikSilver Box Office Digital Signage system from the ground up specifically for the needs of movie theatres.
We were unimpressed by the static, boring, hard-to-update antiquated systems everyone else was using, so we used
Microsoft's WPF technology to provide a robust and flexible system that really delivers!
Showtime information are dramatically displayed on LCD screens throughout your theatre.
Auditorium doors and directional signage can be replaced by inexpensive compelling LCD monitors.
Content is instantly available because of the direct connection to our point of sale system.
There is no intermediate text file or export involved in the process.
