Corporate Office Management
Our full featured web based corporate office system has every feature you need to manage your circuit. The system may
run from your server or our colocation facility. In our system, all theatre level data is transferred to a central
database server for consolidation and reporting. You may view theatre information globally, by corporation, region,
district, same store, or any combination you can imagine. Historical comparison analysis for any time period including
this week, this weekend, last week, last weekend, last year, year to date are possible.
Point and Click Ease
It’s easy to analyze what is happening at your theatres and make decisions with our software. You don’t have to print and
wade through reports to get the informaton you need. Just select a theatre and all box office results and income and
expense information is available. Click any movie title you see and all of the grosses from your circuit are shown. Click
on the corporation name of your theatre and see all theatre totals for that corporation including last year comparisons.
Movies
From booking and trailer placement through film settlement, the entire life cycle of showing movies is tracked. You may
compare grosses between theatres, view last year versus this year comparisons, or drill down on showtimes for sellout
status or house assignments. Movie IDs are setup once in our corporate office system and then pushed to all of your
theatres and your internet ticketing operations so there is no duplication of effort or possibility for missing data
when you need to sell tickets and report the results accurately.
Booking
Our system allows you to easily book hundreds of screens. You may setup bookings as far in advance as you like, and
assign the same title to various theatres in your circuit from a single screen. Hold over bookings and view box office
grosses from prior days or in real time with ease. You may enter firm or estimated terms at any time. These terms will
carryover to the film payment and settlement systems.
Film Payment
The film payment system allows you to adjust terms or make partial payments as needed. You have the flexibility of
paying by theatre or by distributor with full house allowance support for 90/10s. Authorization dates are selectable
so you may setup payments in advance, and you may create separate batches using any criteria you choose. All payment
information flows through to your film accrual reports and settlement processes. When you are ready to print checks,
just click a button to export the payment details to your accounting system.
Film Settlement
The film settlement system gives you the ability to view your proposed terms side-by-side with film company terms. You
can create multiple ‘scenarios’ when settling a film, and you have the ability to select which theatres to include (or not)
in your settlement. After you decide on the final terms, your scenario may be processed by the film payment system.
Real time data
At the heart of our end-to-end solution is access to real time movie grosses from the theatre’s point-of-sale
system. Just like watching stock trades, you can see the grosses increase as customers buy tickets online or at
the theatre. The system can export data to third parties like Rentrak or AC Nielsen as often as you need. Decision
making has never been easier. You no longer have to imagine what it would be like to see opening weekend numbers as
they happen.
Push Technology
Our unique push technology sends data between systems instantly. You have complete control of the critical
information that consolidates your theatre results into your corporate office site. All you have to do is setup
the IDs for movies, trailers and bookings and click a button to ‘push’ the information to your theatre point of
sale systems. There is no more duplication of data entry at the theatre. When the theatre manager adds showtimes
you will immediately see them from your office and customers can buy tickets online.
Inventory
The corporate office system stores point-of-sale inventory data for analysis and reporting. All theatre data is
consolidated for easy analysis of shortages, sales by category, item costs, waste, receipts, and transfers. Centralized
management of sales information allows for easy commission reporting. If you have theatres in states with specific
tax issues per item, we can handle those issues, too.
General Ledger Support
All of the financial and statistical theatre data we collect can be exported to your financial system. Your chart of
account codes are mapped to each account in the point of sale so that financial reporting is seamless. You may post
daily, weekly, or monthly. All we need is the file layout of your import file, and we will do the rest.
Time and Attendance
Theatre level time and attendance data is synchronized with our home office database so that all employees receive
unique IDs, and critical pay rate information remains secure. Employee records may be created at the theatre or at
the corporate office and a ‘push’ of data keeps both systems identical. This architecture allows you to manage a
single employee’s data even if the employee works at more than one of your theatres during a pay period. Finalized
pay period data is not transmitted to the corporate system until specific validations have been completed. All time
records are electronically approved by the employee and the theatre manager. When all data has been received, you may
export your data for processing by your internal payroll program or a third party payroll processor.
Home Office Reporting
Our web based system is designed to let you point and click to get the information you need, but eventually everyone
likes to print or email a report, or export data to another application like Excel. All of our home office systems
have reports that meet your needs for information. Reports range from the most simple booking reports to more
complicated film accrual or gross sheet analysis reports. Historical comparison reports may be used to evaluate
weekly performance instead of relying on your Accounting system. Because of the nature of our software license,
any report that we add to the system will be available to all of our customers at no extra charge.
Third Party Reporting
The technology in our systems allows us to easily export data in a variety of formats to meet the needs of outside
companies. We can send data in a variety of formats like text, xml, pdf, or Excel using web services, ftp, or
email. We have worked with companies like Rentrak, Movietickets.com, Nielsen EDI, Cinema Source, Tribune Media,
Soapbox mobile, and Reset Media. Film companies that use Hollywood Software or have the ability to receive text
files are ideal candidates for automated reporting, which allows you to eliminate the printing and mailing of reports.
