March 10, 2008 Dallas, TX – Ticketsoft Adds Digital Signage With Microsoft WPF Technology For Movie
Theatre Operators.
Ticketsoft, LLC, announces the availabilty of its QuikSilver digital signage system for movie theatres.
QuikSilver uses information from point of sale systems to render data driven dynamic content on LCD screens
throughout a movie theatre. This includes box office marquees, concession menu boards, poster cases,
or auditorium door displays. In-theatre point of sale showtime and pricing information is instantly
distributed to all LCD screens, and circuit wide graphical content is distributed to all locations from
a secure centralized web site.
“We are excited to introduce a flexible and robust application for the unique needs of movie theatres.
As an add on to Ticketsoft’s comprehensive point of sale systems, or an existing theatre’s system,
QuikSilver renders compelling displays to provide information, increase concession sales through product
placement, or generate advertising revenue”, said Philip Wood, President. QuikSilver design templates and
Microsoft’s powerful WPF technology make it easy to deploy new content to an entire theatre circuit.
The system will be on display at Bally’s Las Vegas at the Ticketsoft booth from March 11 through March 13.
“Ticketsoft has leveraged .NET in a manner that enhances the multimedia user experience a movie theater is
able to provide its customers,” said Chris Sakalosky, South Central Area general manager for Microsoft’s
Small to Midsized Solutions and Partners Group. “Whether it’s buying popcorn, purchasing movie tickets,
or recharging a gift card, the benefits realized by Ticketsoft’s customers allow them to give their patrons
a rich and satisfying experience through a reliable technology.”
Ticketsoft, LLC, is a software development company that provides end to end software solutions for movie theatres. Ticketsoft’s customers include Landmark Theatres, Starplex Cinemas, Movie Tavern Partners, Studio Movie Grill, Texas Cinema, and Monaco Pictures.

Ticketsoft Debuts Reserved Seating for Movie Theatres
June 2007
Ticketsoft has added reserved seating to its Theatre Management Series (TMS)
software. Using TMS, “The Landmark” theatre in Los Angeles opened June 1st
with the ability to reserve seats online at http://tickets.landmarktheatres.com
and all point-of-sale terminals including the oversized,
self-service kiosks in the lobby. Twenty-inch touch-screen monitors display
auditorium layouts for easy seat selection.
“It is exciting to watch Landmark deploy the new, customer-friendly features
we have in our system,” said Philip Wood, Ticketsoft President.
“The initial response has been extremely positive, and we are looking forward
to a wider implementation that could change the movie-going experience in
several markets.”
TMS’ internet ticketing features allow customers to print bar-coded tickets at
home. Ushers scan the tickets with wireless devices to speed moviegoers to their
reserved seats. The process eliminates the long lines that are common at popular
movies. Buying reserved seats from a web browser also allows you to pick your
favorite seat, not just any seat.
“The Landmark” is the new flagship venue of Landmark Theatres, the nation's
largest theatre chain dedicated primarily to exhibiting and marketing independent
film. Landmark is a recognized leader in the industry for providing consistently
diverse and entertaining film product in a sophisticated, adult-oriented atmosphere
to its customers.

amenities including the latest in film, digital and sound technology,

CDs as well as Landmark's signature brand of customer service.
